Coxwave Signs Strategic MOU with ThetaOne, Generative AI Foreign Language Education Company
Coxwave (CEO Kim Ki-jung), a generative AI specialized company operating the deep learning-based conversational data analysis platform 'Align AI,' announced on the 11th that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement (MOU) with Theta One, Inc. (CEO Kim Chan-woo), which provides the generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based foreign language conversation education app 'MetaBuddy,' and has begun developing innovative AI services combining both companies' technologies.
Coxwave is an AI startup that develops solutions specialized in conversation data analysis and insight extraction using generative AI. Their Align AI service uses multimodal embedding models and natural language processing technology to help users easily search and analyze desired conversations.
Meanwhile, Theta One's 'MetaBuddy' is an app that provides English conversation practice through generative AI. It offers a customized learning experience where users can practice English daily at a reasonable price of around 10,000 won per month with an AI avatar that remembers conversation content. The app not only corrects unnatural or incorrect English expressions like a native speaker during conversations but also generates personalized English content tailored to each user's conversation style.
Through this agreement, Coxwave and Theta One aim to provide the industry's best user experience in conversation-based English education by conducting in-depth analysis of 'MetaBuddy' conversation data and establishing long-term improvement research directions. Unlike many AI conversation-based English conversation apps that have short-term practice formats and limited educational effectiveness, Theta One plans to present distinctive services through collaboration with Coxwave's conversation analysis AI by thoroughly researching the educational value and fun elements obtainable from English conversations.
